With a capacity near 10,000 per day, the layout included seven stages—from the main Pallet Stage to the leafy Woodland and the dance-fueled Coda tent—fostering a warm, community atmosphere .
Headline performances were nothing short of electrifying. Punk legend Iggy Pop, age 78, delivered a high-energy set packed with classics like “Raw Power” and “Lust for Life,” proving age is no barrier to raw rock charisma . Manic Street Preachers rounded off the festival with an emotional finale, complete with fireworks and hits like “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next” .
Mid-tier and undercard acts also shone. Paul Heaton & Rianne Downey captivated Friday night with a string of Housemartins/Beautiful South anthems . Fan-favourite indie-punk The Vaselines performed a joyful, nostalgia-rich set, while rising stars like Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Yard Act, Ezra Furman, Billy Nomates, and explosive live bands such as Mannequin Pussy and Nova Twins kept energy levels high throughout .
The festival’s family-friendly ethos was highlighted by the Friday “Festival School,” which brought creative classroom activities to 200 children in an accredited, high-staff support setting .
